Todd Villeneuve graduated magna cum laude from Western Michigan University in 1993, majoring in history. He lived in Taiwan from October 1994 to September 1995 studying Mandarin Chinese and teaching English. He did grad school work at Wayne State University in U.S. History. He has been in the private sector for the last 16 years. This website is his first attempt at doing HTML5/CSS3 coding and running a website. This is not currently a "mobile-friendly" site. While the topic and the layout of the data may not lend themselves to that type of browsing in general, hopefully we will get there someday.

Todd would like to thank Professors Dale Pattison and Judith Stone of Western Michigan University and Professor Melvin Small of Wayne State University for helping to instill a love of history in him, and in encouraging him in the pursuit of knowledge. He also would like to thank Professor Michael Goldfield of Wayne State University for the same reasons, but also for bringing him back to an interest in the history of the role of race in the United States about which he had always harbored an intense curiosity.

If you have any questions, feedback, or leads for further data to add to this site, please contact him via email at racialviolenceus@gmail.com. Error corrections are also most welcome! Thank you for stopping by.
